Nutrition is an important aspect that needs to be addressed in the management of fibromyalgia. Not easy to do when you’ve brain fog, fatigue and pain.

It’s about making small changes that you do consistently and set yourself up for success rather than disappointment. Any changes to your diet needs to be gradual and needs to be monitored by a healthcare professional.

Nutrition is very individualised. You need to find the foods that work and don’t work for you. The best way to do this is to keep a food diary. This is not about diets, this about understanding your relationship with food. A simple place to start is to ask yourself…Is this food building me up or depleting me?

This book explains fibromyalgia and explains the role of nutrition.
